Pre-School
Welcome to our Pre-school information page. We have one class in Pre-school, with up to 23 children in the class at any one time. Our team ensure that the Pre-school provision meets the expectations set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage, as well as provide opportunities for them to integrate and be part of the academy as a whole.
Starting Pre-school in September 2022 and beyond
Our Pre-school is now full. Please contact the school office if you are interested in applying for a place for your child.
What days can you book your child in for?
The Pre-school is open everyday between 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. You can book your child in for a morning, afternoon or full day.
When will you know if your child has a place?
Parents will be informed of the outcome of their application in the term prior to being admitted.
When can your child start in the Pre-school?
Your children can join the Pre-school when they are 3 years old. Children will be admitted in the term after their 3rd birthday in term 1 (September) and possibly term 3 (January) or term 5 (April) if places are still available.
Can you register for a Pre-school place for the future?
We are currently full for Pre-school in September 2024. You can still register to be on the waiting list for September 2024 but it is unlikely that places will become available. We continue to welcome applications for September 2025 and beyond. Please note, as detailed in the policy, places are offered on a first come, first served basis. It is only when spaces become available thereafter, that the over-subscription criteria is used. We will still take applications for future years, even if the current year group is full.
