Latest Coronavirus Information

Dear Parent /Carer,

With the extensive coverage of COVID 19 in the media we understand that many of you could be feeling anxious about the current situation. We like to assure you that at the time of writing we have no reported cases of any student or staff member diagnosed with COVID19 in any of our Academies.

This is a fast changing and complex situation and we would like to assure you we are following in full the available government guidance. We monitor this guidance at regular points every day for any changes.

All Academies within the Federation are working together sharing information and being as proactive as possible in a dynamic situation. We have created a web-page for all academies that provides up to date information, guidance and even online awareness training for our school communities. We created this on the 13th February and to date we have had almost 5000 hits.

The Department for Education launched a new helpline to answer questions about COVID 19 related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows:

The advice is very clear in response to a suspected (or confirmed) COVID 19 case that no academies should close unless directed to do so by Public Health England.

This is a dynamic situation that we are monitoring closely. If the situation changes, we will update staff and parents via our normal communication routes.
