Throughout the remainder of this year, as Historians, Year 5 are exploring the Roman Empire, how it became so strong and its impact on our country. To this end, the children will be going to The National Roman Legion Museum in Caerleon on Tuesday 16th July. They will spend the day exploring the Roman bath house, amphitheatre and army barracks, as well as taking part in a role-play workshop in the museum.
