As writers this term, Year 1’s fiction text is: The Tiger Who Came to Tea. The children will be writing their own meeting tales about an animal who comes for tea/lunch/breakfast. On Friday 15th March at 2:30pm, we would like to invite parents into school for tea and cake. The children will then share their stories with you. This is a great incentive for the children to write and they will be excited to read their stories with you during our ‘tea and cake’ time.
Cakes are welcome for this occasion! If you, with your child, would like to make a cake to bring, please bring this in at drop off in the morning on Friday 15th March.
Please remember that we are a nut-free school so please ensure that cakes do not contain any nuts.
