We are happy to announce that the HVA Booknic will take place at 3.00pm on Thursday 16th July 2026! This is another fantastic opportunity to share quality time with
your children and find out more about the books we read at Haywood Village Academy.

Each class will have a sign-up sheet for volunteer readers to read to a group of children from each class from one of our HVA Reading Spine books. If you have more than one
child at HVA, sign up with your youngest child’s class. Teachers will be able to support older siblings joining.

On this afternoon, pick-up for Beech, Birch, Cherry and Chestnut classes will be from the field gates, following the conclusion of the Booknic. Pick-up for children who have
got adults at the Booknic in all other classes will be from normal class doors.
