We will be celebrating World Book Day on 3rd March 2022.

Children are invited to dress up as a book character. We are encouraging families to re-use as much as possible and we challenge you to not buy anything new to create your home-made outfits. We will also be promoting this approach with children. As an Eco-school we are promoting the 5 R’s which are Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose and Recycle. Please see some inspiration below:

The kitchen will also be doing a special World Book Day themed menu today. Children can have Lady and the Tramp spaghetti meatballs or Harry Potter Wizarding Squash pasties, followed by Gruffalo Rocky Road Bars. (School packed lunches and jacket potatoes will also be available).
